The cybercrime wing of the Federal Investigation Agency has announced that WhatsApp users can be blackmailed through the messaging app.

The agency said in a tweet that users’ messages could be retrieved on the messaging app, even if they were deleted.

The FIA ​​warned WhatsApp users to “avoid sending messages that you may want to delete later.”
