IDAHO FALLS – The EastIdahoNews.com team is highlighting different jobs in our area, and today, we’re Workin’ It with the Idaho Falls Police Department.

Local police officers put themselves on the front lines each day to defend and protect our community.

Idaho Falls Police Department Officer Brooke Yorgesen takes us behind the scenes on patrol, at a traffic stop, and on a dynamite detection exercise with Skadi, the department’s newest K9 officer who can sniff out eight different types of explosives.

Check it out in the video in the player above to learn about life as a patrol officer with IFPD.
