After deciding to take paternity leave for Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli is paving the way for all fathers to take equal responsibility as their better half.
The cricket staff has recently chosen to shorten the Indian Test tour of Australia to stay with his wife at this point in his life.
A statement issued by Kohli revealed that he was flying back to comfort Anushka, who is in her third semester.
The Indian captain also told how he wanted the selectors to return home for the birth of their first child and stay with his wife Anushka.
He described the feeling as a beautiful moment and said that he really wanted to experience it.
Anushka and Virat’s first child is due in January 2021.
