KARACHI: The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Tuesday announced that it is being restructured and divided into three parts.
According to an official notification issued by the authority, the decision was taken after the approval of the CAA board. The CAA Director General has also issued a written order for immediate implementation of the decisions.
As reported Geo NewsAll three divisions include the regulatory division, airport services and operations, and support functions.
As part of the restructuring process, the CAA’s Director General will regularly oversee the two positions of Additional DG of the Regulatory Division and Airport Services and Operations.
Meanwhile, four posts of Deputy Director General were also created. Two Deputy DGs will work under the DG Regulatory Division, and the other two will work under the DG of Airport Services and Operations.
According to the board, the reorganization of the CAA is aimed at improving service delivery and governance within the organization.
