Sixers’ Paul George sidelined for rest of season following procedure

Paul George averaged 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists during his 1st season with Philadelphia.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George will be sidelined for the next six weeks after receiving injections in both his left adductor muscle and left knee, according to the team. This timetable will force him to miss the remainder of the regular season.

The nine-time All-Star joined Philadelphia this offseason as a free agent and struggled to find a rhythm throughout 2024-25. He finishes the season with averages of 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists over 41 games.

The Sixers (23-44) are currently 12th in the Eastern Conference standings.
