KARACHI: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations reopened in the metropolis on Sunday after six days.
Shortly after the supply was restored, long queues of vehicles can be seen outside gas stations in the metropolis today.
According to a Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) spokesperson, the CNG stations will be open for 24 hours across Sindh from 8 am on Sunday.
Earlier, the SSGC had announced the reopening of the CNG station at 8 am on Thursday but later extended the closure for another 48 hours across Sindh.
Stakeholders already knew that the failure of the authorities to seize the three LNG cargoes would lead to an increase in gas shortages this month.
