Seahawks Place Jarran Reed On Injured Reserve & Other Roster Moves Ahead Of Week 10 vs. Cardinals

The Seahawks made a handful of roster moves ahead of Sunday’s home matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Defensive tackle Jarran Reed, who was ruled out on Saturday morning for Sunday’s game, was placed on injured reserve with wrist and thumb injuries. Reed was on Seattle’s injury report for the past two weeks but practiced fully all week and did not have an injury designation on Friday’s injury report.

Receiver Dareke Young was also placed on injured reserve with a quadricep injury that kept him out of last week’s game.

Both Young and Reed will have to miss a minimum of four games before they are eligible to return. With Reed and Young being placed on injured reserve, defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna and receiver Cody White were signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

In addition to those moves, linebacker Patrick O’Connell and wide receiver Ricky White III were elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.

Cody White was elevated from the practice squad for last week’s game and could potentially make his third regular-season appearance this week. Bohanna has been elevated from the practice squad once this season.

Young was already ruled out for Sunday’s game on Friday.

Ricky White III, a rookie out of UNLV, along with Cody White gives Seattle more depth at receiver with Tory Horton doubtful and Cooper Kupp questionable.
