KARACHI: The Pakistan Yarn Merchants Association (PYMA) has demanded the federal government to implement the reduced power tariffs announced for the textile industry.
Senior Vice Chairman Muhammad Hanif Lakhni and PYMA Vice Chairman Farhan Ashrafi have said that strict instructions should be issued to the power distribution companies, especially Electric, to act immediately on the government’s notification, so that the domestic industries affected by Kovid He added that 19 people could get some relief.

K Electric should ensure prompt implementation of the government’s announcement to enable Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision to boost the country’s industries and exports.
He also requested to change the name of multiple electricity connections and bills in the business premises.
