ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood is addressing a press conference on the steps taken by the present government for civil reform.
Speaking on Twitter, the minister said he would brief the media as “head of the Cabinet Committee on Institutional Reforms”, adding that “improvements in administration by Prime Minister Imran Khan” on the subject. There will be “civil service reform measures” designed to bring about. .

Less than a month after assuming the presidency, Imran Khan set out a task to restore the bureaucracy. In his election campaign, the PTI chief vowed to reform the system extensively and introduce a system of internal accountability to encourage competent officials and eliminate incompetents.
There have been many reforms in the civil service and the efforts of the incoming government will be another step towards changing this service, ensuring that the best officers reach the places where they were dedicated to the service.
