The future of Queen Elizabeth II as British King has been making headlines for the past few days.
And while it is not clear whether her greatness will be handed over to her son, Prince Charles, the former butler of the heirs claims that she can go on ‘semi-retirement’.
Grant Hearwald, Charles’s former butler, told Express UK that she could hand over the reins of the kingdom to “Charles”.
“I have a strong suspicion that the queen will give up after she promised the country and the Commonwealth in 1947. Since she is a traditionalist, I do not see her breaking that promise,” he said. “
“It is possible that he will hand over more responsibilities, relinquish his patronage to charities, or go into semi-retirement and hand over the reins of the kingdom to all his sons, Prince Charles. But as far as our kingdom is concerned, I am sure he will die. It will not change, “he added.
