Lahore: A delegation of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) led by Chairman (North) Muhammad Khalid Munir visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) at the FPCCI Regional Office. Meets Senior Vice President Khawaja Shahzeb Akram Lahore, a statement said on Tuesday.
PPMA members apprised the FPCCI official of the problems facing the pharmaceutical industry.
The meeting discussed general technical dossiers, pricing, and other issues facing the pharmaceutical industry, the meeting said. Akram assured the PPMA leadership of FPCCI’s full support in resolving the issues.
The FPCCI delegation will meet Dr Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, next week and make recommendations on how to resolve the issues.
The FPCCI has played its full role in bringing interest rates to historic lows.
Akram said the issues of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) would be taken up with the government immediately. He added that in the current situation, there has been tremendous progress in the services and textile sectors and it is hoped that there will be further growth in the future.
