KHAIRPUR: Five suspects were arrested on Tuesday on charges of involvement in kidnapping, rape and murder of a minor in Khairpur.
A case was registered against three unidentified persons on the complaint of the father of a seven-year-old girl after her body was recovered from Hadal Shah village.
The post-mortem report confirmed that the girl was strangled after being raped.
Locals protest the latest case of child abuse.
Police recovered the body and shifted it to Pir Jo Goth Taluka Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, where a lady doctor confirmed that the minor had been raped before being strangled.
