Mansehra: An administration official has warned the Patwaris to serve the landlords and buyers as per the rules of the Revenue Department.
While issuing these instructions, Additional Assistant Commissioner Sindh Irshad Malik on Saturday visited the offices of Bahali, Labarkot and Lisan Nawab Patwar constituencies and checked the land records. The visit was initiated on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Qasim Ali Khan.
He listened to the complaints of the people present there to collect the revenue record and get the registered changes. “The district administration wants the patwaris and other staff of the revenue department to serve the people instead of creating their own trouble and that is why I am visiting the patwari offices,” the official added.
He seized plastic shopping bags and another operation in and around the city and fined vendors for selling the same despite the ban.
Reshuffle: District Police Officer Sadiq Baloch has shifted the station house offices of several police stations. A police spokesman said alterations were a norm to improve the law and order situation in the district.
