Karachi: Partly cloudy weather and cold night will prevail in Karachi during next 24 hours. This was stated by the Meteorological Department on Thursday.
The city experienced the first rain of the winter on Tuesday night, after which the director of the Met Office said it would be colder than usual this December.
Light to heavy rain is reported in different areas of the metropolis including Gulzar-e-Hijri, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Rashid Minhas Road, Gulshan-e-Jamal, Shahra-e-Faisal and Shah Faisal. Colony, Malir and Quaidabad.
Other areas including Surjani, Orangi, Baldia Town, New Karachi, Federal B Area, Nazimabad, II Chandragar Road, MA Jinnah Road and Old City Area also received light rain.
