One of PlayStation’s Best Developers Marks 40 Years of Incredible Games

Naughty Dog has uploaded a new retrospective video to celebrate the developer’s 40 anniversary that’s been packed full of developer interviews and clips from its classic and modern games.

From studio head Neil Druckmann and studio manager Alison Mori to co-head of art Erick Pangilinan, the video charts the studio’s biggest titles of the past four decades, and has those who worked on them share their thoughts 40 years later. The Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter, Uncharted, and The Last of Us franchises all feature prominently, along with a small tease of Intergalactic at the end.

Formed in 1984, the California developer made its start as JAM Software, and made titles like Math Jam and Ski Crazed for the Apple II computer. It became Naughty Dog in 1989, and truly made a name for itself seven years later with the Crash Bandicoot series. Four decades later, it’s one of the leading teams within PlayStation Studios.
