Stacy Livingston, 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 17, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Stacy was born May 31, 1961, in Idaho Falls, ID, to Glen and Gaye Smith. Unfortunately, her father, Glen died in February of that year before Stacy was born in May. Later, Gaye married Rex Brown, and he adopted both Stacy and her sister, Tami. Stacy grew up in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She also attended University of Idaho.
She married Brent Esplin in 1981. Together they had two sons, Jeromy and Thomas “T.C.” Esplin. They divorced in 1991. Stacy married Ryan Livingston on November 26, 1999, and they made their home in Idaho Falls, where Stacy worked as Food Service Manager for Clair E. Gale Jr. High School.
Stacy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed many activities including gardening, boating, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, gambling – specifically playing slot machines – watching ‘General Hospital’ every single day, and most of all she loved being a Grandma.
She is survived by her husband, Ryan Livingston of Idaho Falls; sons, Jeromy (Anne) Esplin of Boise, ID, and Thomas “T.C.” Esplin of Idaho Falls, ID; grandchildren, Blair and Phoebe; mother, Gaye Weston of Idaho Falls; sister, Tami Peterson of Idaho Falls, sister, Vicky Brown of Idaho Falls, and sister, Jill (Kurt) Wells of Shelley; a half-brother, Richard (Penny) Brown of Toole, UT, step-brother, Fred Weston; and three step-sisters, Cheri Jamison, Becky Pugmire, and Tracy Munson.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, Glen; her adoptive father, Rex Brown; grandparents, Marshall and Blanche Dalling, Oliver ‘Buck’ and Mary Smith, and Roscoe and Donna Brown; and step-brother, Travis Weston,
A ‘Celebration of Life’ open house will be held on 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025, at Stacy and Ryan’s home, 151 Beacon in Idaho Falls.
