After a long run of unsuccessful attempts via GPU driver updates to fix several common issues with GeForce RTX 5000 series graphics cards, Nvidia claims to have finally found the solution. Driver update 576.02 is available to download right now and fixes a ton of game crashing issues as well as the black screen fault that has been plaguing the company’s newest GPUs.
Nvidia has faced a ton of criticism lately, in part due to some of its latest graphics cards not delivering the price/performance balance many gamers were hoping for but also due to its inability to correct basic issues with driver updates, even leading to game developers recommending driver rollbacks. Now, the maker of some of the best graphics cards believes it has fixed the most egregious issues, all while adding support for the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti.
Among the long list of general and gaming fixes included in Nvidia GPU driver 576.02 are the following standout lines:
- Fortnite – random crashes during gameplay fixed
- The First Bezerker Khazan – fixed DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
- Star Wars Outlaws – Fixed application freezing when idle on title screen
- InZOI – fixed game crash error “GPU crashed or D3D Device Removed”
- Fixed stutter when using VSync
- Fixed game stability issues when using DLSS Frame Generation + GSync
- Random black screen issues for RTX 50 series fixed
- Fixed PC display not waking after an extended sleep time

On top of these key fixes, driver 576.02 also brings optimal settings profiles for Deadlock, GTA V Enhanced, inZOI, Monster Hunter Wilds, The Last of Us Part II, and Half-Life 2 with RTX.
For gamers with an RTX 5000 GPU, DLSS multi frame gen support is also coming to Black Myth Wukong and No More Room in Hell 2 with this driver.
Finally, this new Nvidia GPU driver brings support for 19 G-Sync compatible displays, covering models from Acer, Asus, AOC, LG, Dell, Samsung, and more.
