NEPRA raises electricity tariffs


ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increase in electricity tariffs, a notification said on Wednesday.

According to the notification, NEPRA has said that it has approved an increase of Rs.6.6.64 per unit as an adjustment in fuel price per unit, which will be included in the April bills.

It added that consumers using less than 50 units would be exempted from the increase, while K Electric customers would also be spared.
