The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increase in the price of electricity by Rs 0.82 per unit. Geo TV Reported on Friday.
The regulatory body made the decision based on a request for adjustment in the last quarter of the last financial year.
After the implementation of this decision, consumers will have to bear the burden of Rs 84 billion.
The company said the increase would apply to consumers after approval from the federal government, while the decision would not affect K Electric.
