Acknowledging the demands of traders, merchants and businessmen, the Sindh government on Thursday announced that markets across the province would now remain open till 8 pm. Geo News Reported

Earlier, the government had instructed businesses to suspend all activities by 6pm in accordance with the “smart lockdown” rules.

On Thursday evening, Sindh government spokesman Murtaza Wahab shared on his Twitter account and instructed traders and merchants to comply with the government’s Corona Virus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

It is to be mentioned that the bazaars in Sindh will remain open till 8 pm. Market associations, shop owners and citizens are once again expected to observe the SOPs and every mask including the shopkeeper and the visitor. Will wear He wrote.

Earlier, the bodies of several traders in Pakistan’s financial capital had demanded the Sindh government to reopen their shops from 10am to 8pm following the announcement of new restrictions to curb the growing corona virus. Be allowed

The demands of the traders were announced on Thursday during a joint press conference of the bodies of Karachi Electronics Dealers Association, Sindh Tajir Ittehad and other traders of the Metropolis.

He threatened the government with a sit-in outside the markets if their demands were not met, adding that businesses had already suffered due to heavy rains and previous lockdowns.
