Following up the last huge update for Mario Kart World, a smaller version 1.4.1 update is here. It’s starting to go out now to all Nintendo Switch 2 players.
Nintendo is looking to address a specific issue with controllers. An unintended bug took place with disconnecting and reconnecting, which particularly impacted Time Trials ghost data.
The official notice is as follows:
Mario Kart World version 1.4.1 update patch notes
Fixed an issue where, if a player disconnects and reconnects a controller, the game may not progress as normal.
- When this issue occurs, there are times when ghost data from Time Trials will be deleted without warning from “View Rankings.”
