Pakistan’s most controversial author, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, is making headlines again after a female journalist was humiliated on live television.
You have me The writer, who is notorious for his unfortunate and sexist remarks, walked out of a talk show chanting sexist slogans against a female panel member, Alia Zahra.
Zahra took to Twitter and shared this clip describing her ‘terrible’ experience of sharing a panel with Qamar.
“It simply came to our notice then. Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar lost the marble during a talk show when I called him for hate speech. He left the show screaming at the top of his lungs. They called me a RAW agent and treated me sexist.
Qamar also caused a stir in the country last year when he verbally abused activist Marvi Sirmad during a televised conversation about the Women’s March.
