BAKU: Four Azerbaijanis were killed on Saturday when Azeri citizens hit a landmine while pushing back Armenian troops in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region, Azerbaijan’s prosecutor general said.
The incident took place in a village in Faizoli district, a statement said.
The statement said the mine was set up by the Armenian Armed Forces during a retreat.
The statement called the incident “a new kind of provocation” in Armenia.
