Saturday: Israel began vaccinating adolescents with the Code 19 vaccine on Saturday as it launched its vaccination campaign, health officials say.
More than 2.5 million of Israel’s nine million strong population have already been vaccinated against polio since vaccinations began a month ago, the health ministry said Friday. The expansion of the youth engagement campaign was revealed just days after it was completed by the end of this month on Tuesday, when it had its third national corona virus lockdown due to an increase in coronavirus infections. The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that it was allowing high school students between the ages of 16 and 18 to be vaccinated, with parental approval.
