LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is an inexperienced player.
Talking to reporters outside the Lahore Accountability Court, he said that the Broadsheet scandal was a slap in the face of the PTI government.
“The broadsheet scandal is a slap in the face to the PTI government. They have been lied to in front of them,” Maryam said.
Criticizing the government over the dispute over the settlement paid to the asset recovery firm, the PML-N leader said, “They tried to use a brochure against Nawaz Sharif but Allah Almighty once again Confirmed. “
“They are stuck in it themselves. He is so corrupt that he demanded a commission from the asset recovery firm.
Maryam Nawaz said Prime Minister Imran would be left alone this year, adding that his advisers and ministers had “begun to understand the reality”.
The PML-N leader said, “Imran Khan is an inexperienced player.
He said that the PTI government has been exposed. “Lahore was a beautiful city and now they have turned it into a garbage dump.”
Responding to a question, Maryam said that the opposition parties would hold a big protest rally outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on January 19.
“The PDM will decide on the sit-in after January 31.”
When a journalist asked about Bilawal Bhutto’s ECP protest not being planned, Maryam said she was unaware of it. According to reports, the PPP chairman is scheduled to visit cities in Sindh these days and may not be able to include other opposition leaders in his protest.
Maryam claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan considers Shahbaz Sharif as his alternative, which is why he has thrown him in jail.
“Both Shahbaz and Hamza Shahbaz will definitely come out of jail and participate in politics,” he said.
