KARACHI: Central Punjab’s second XI batsman Mohammad Imran Dogar has been fined 25 per cent of the match fee for expressing disagreement against the umpiring decision in the three-day Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match against Sindh. TMC Ground in Karachi.
The incident took place in the 37th over of the first innings of Central Punjab on Saturday when Imran showed his bat to the umpire after being LBWed.
Imran was accused by on-field umpires Mir Dad and Majid Hussain of violating Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for players and player support personnel.
Imran accepted the charge and fine imposed by match referee Tanveer Afzal Khan.
