Idaho Falls police seek missing 12-year-old girl


Idaho Falls Police is asking for help finding a missing 12-year-old who they believe left with two men.

BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Falls Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 12-year-old girl who is believed to have left her home Saturday night with two adult men.

Tatiana was last seen at her home around 11 p.m. and was reported missing around 11 a.m. Sunday morning, after her family couldn’t find her. 

The Idaho Falls Police Department believes Fuentes left with two adult men in the middle of the night. One suspect has been identified as Marvin Juan Godoy Castillo, 18, possibly from Texas. The second man remains unidentified.

Around 9 a.m. in the Swan Valley area, a Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a 2012 dark blue Ford Focus with Texas license plate WBP6759. According to police, the driver received a warning for speeding. 

Police said after Fuentes was reported missing at 11 a.m. and information circulated among law enforcement, the deputy recognized the girl in the back seat as Fuentes and shared the information with investigators.

Police now have photographs of both men and a vehicle description with the license plate number.

Idaho Falls Police describe Fuentes as being 5 feet 2 inches tall and approximately 75 pounds. She has dark brown hair, brown eyes and pierced ears. She may have a temporary butterfly tattoo on her left forearm and could be wearing pink Air Jordans.


Castillo is described as an 18-year-old with dark brown or black hair and dark eyes. The second suspect is approximately 20 years old, with dark hair and eyes. He was wearing a black shirt and a black hat during the traffic stop.


Police believe they are driving a 2012 dark blue Ford Focus with Texas license plate WBP6759.
