Gisele Bündchen is introducing her baby to the world — on a special day!
On Sunday, May 11, the Brazilian supermodel, 44, marked Mother’s Day by sharing the first photos of her new baby boy on Instagram — though she still has not revealed his name. The mom of three also acknowledged that she has been “quiet” on social media since her son’s birth was revealed in February, explaining that she’s been living in the moment.
“I’ve been quiet over here but very busy living life … Sometimes, the most beautiful moments aren’t shared — they’re simply lived,” she began in her post, adding, “Lately, I’ve been embracing the slower rhythms, the real connections, the beauty in the lessons that come with being present.”

Bündchen then shared several photos of herself with the new baby, the first of which featured her cradling the infant — who sported a white “I ❤️ Mom” onesie — against her chest.

The second photo was a family affair, with the new baby held in a group embrace with Bündchen, her boyfriend — the baby’s father, Joaquim Valente — and son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, both of whom she shares with retired NFL quarterback and ex-husband Tom Brady.

In the post, Bündchen also included an emotional tribute to her own mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher, who died in January 2024 at the age of 75.
“Today, on Mother’s Day, I specifically miss my mom, but my heart is full. Being a mother it’s been my greatest gift, a journey that humbles me, teaches me, and fills me with gratitude every single day,” the model wrote. “To all the mothers out there, your love shapes the world in ways words can’t describe. I see you, I honor you. Happy mother’s day! Sending so much love your way!”

At the end of January, a source told PEOPLE that Bündchen was still planning to have a home birth and seemed the “happiest she’s ever been” ahead of welcoming her son.
“Gisele’s doing great,” the insider said at the time. “She seems the happiest she’s ever been. She’s truly thriving.”
“The baby has been a happy surprise,” the source added. “Joaquim can’t wait for the baby to arrive. They are planning a home birth.”

News of Bündchen’s pregnancy was exclusively confirmed by PEOPLE in October 2024. A source told PEOPLE at the time that Bündchen was “excited to embrace this new chapter openly.”
Bündchen “received many positive messages and congratulations,” the insider said, adding that while the soon-to-be mother of three “wanted to keep it private for as long as she could, doing so was starting to be a challenge.”
