Damascus: Four civilians, including two children, were killed in Israeli attacks in the Syrian province of Hama on Friday morning, the Syrian state news agency SANA reported.
Sana, citing a Syrian military source, said the country’s air defense had intercepted Israeli missiles in the central province and intercepted most of them. It was later stated that “a family, including a father, mother and two children, was martyred as a result of the Israeli aggression”, and four more people were injured and three houses were destroyed on the west side of the city of Hama. ۔
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says Israeli raids have targeted Syrian military bases and “destroyed” five of them in an area of Hama where Iranian-backed fighters are present. Are
But War Monitor said civilians were “killed by the wreckage of one of the Syrian plane’s defense missiles that landed on a house in a densely populated neighborhood.” When contacted by AFP on Friday, the Israeli military rarely acknowledged individual raids on Syria and declined to comment on the latest reports.
