We’re now less than a month away from the release of the last DLC character for Street Fighter 6 Season 2, and now’s the time to finally see what she looks like in actual gameplay.
A lot of Japanese publications are now releasing Elena gameplay footage videos showcasing our first look at real match footage of the fighter and more.
There’s obviously much to dig into here across all of the different videos, but there’s more than just pure gameplay to view too.
Much importance is placed on Elena’s new Lynx Song for her moves since that now allows her to get multiple different follow-ups out of the special that dodges projectiles.
We can also get a better feel for her combo potential with examples like her Spinning Scythe launching after a Drive Impact that can lead to a Drive Rush combo afterwards.
This is our first chance to see Elena’s healing in use too with the health bars, so we can see just how much life she gets back.
It appears that the alternate version of her level 2 Super Art only replenishes around 1,500 health, which is basically 15% of her total bar.
Some channels also preview Elena’s Arcade Mode story where she sits with Akuma as he describes to her how fighting with the Satsui no Hado / murderous intent and fighting full of life like her are two sides of the same coin.
They show off a small collection of her combo trials as well as move breakdowns as well, so we can see how her normals and specials interact in more detail.
If you’re looking for pure gameplay, Impress Watch has 15 minutes of the CPU level 7 taking each other on in uninterrupted action.
Elena herself is set to release on June 5 alongside the big Season 3 update for Street Fighter 6 and the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.
