Special moves and supers all listed for Classic controls, along with additional gameplay impressions
During the Elena showcase at Evo Japan 2025, competitors were able to take an image of Elena’s moves in Street Fighter 6, using Classic controls, which we’ve posted and translated for the fighting game community to look through.
She has five special moves, and two of them have the ability to do the Lynx Whirl follow up, specifically Spinning Scythe and Lynx Song.
You can compare these moves to her attacks in Ultra Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter X Tekken and Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, and see that there’s quite a bit of overlap, although some returning attacks have new names and abilities.
We recently posted some hands-on impressions of Elena from the Evo Japan 2025 build of Street Fighter 6 as well.
For example, it’s possible for Elena to juggle with her Super 1, Meteor Volley, twice and then follow it up again with her Dragon Kick, Scratch Wheel. Also, her healing recovers roughly 1,200 health, or about 12% of the typical life bar in Street Fighter 6.
Elena does not have throw loops, even after a Drive Rush. This is leading many to believe that throw loops may have been altered for some or all of the other 25 cast members in the game.
Elena has a target combo from Crouching Medium Kick to Heavy Kick. You can special cancel it, but it whiffs on crouchers.
Elena has a two-hitting special cancellable crouching heavy punch. It doesn’t have much range but you can Drive Rush into crouching heavy punch, crouching medium punch canceled into other stuff.
