Nintendo’s official Black Friday 2025 sale kicked off on Sunday, but Walmart waited until its own Black Friday sale started to unlock deals on Switch exclusives. It turns out the best was saved for last, as Walmart has 50% discounts on all eight of the $60 games in the sale. Walmart has added Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Kirby’s Return to the Dream Land Deluxe to the list of $30 Switch games. There is a small catch, though. These deals are in early access for Walmart+ subscribers for a few more hours (until 9 PM PT / 12 AM ET). Walmart+ annual memberships are on sale for 50% off ($49).
Here’s a quick look at the list of first-party Switch game deals at Walmart.
Walmart Black Friday: Nintendo Game Deals
With Amazon now sold out of nearly all of the games in the sale, Walmart and Target are the only retailers with The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Princess Peach: Showtime, and Donkey Kong Country Returns for $30. Target is sold out of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, but you can still grab it at Best Buy and now Walmart, too. Meanwhile, Splatoon 3 is sold out everywhere except for Walmart.
In addition to the game deals, you can snag the Amiibo figures that launched alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 for cheap at Best Buy. The Legend of Zelda Amiibo are only $10 each, and Street Fighter 6 Amiibo are $15 each.
Nintendo’s official Black Friday 2025 promotion on exclusive games has arrived with steep discounts on some of the best Switch games at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target. The sale features Mario games from a variety of genres, the latest mainline Zelda game, charming Kirby and Donkey Kong side-scrollers, and more. In the RPG and 3D platforming corners of the Super Mario franchise, two of the best Nintendo games ever made are on sale for 50% off: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Super Mario Odyssey. You can also save 50% on a few rarely discounted games, including The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Princess Peach: Showtime.
Nintendo Switch Exclusives: Black Friday Game Deals
Only three of the nine games featured in the sale were supposed to be 50% off, but Target cut an extra $10 from Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Princess Peach: Showtime, and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD when the sale started. And you just read about Walmart adding two more to the pile. Amazon quickly matched Target’s $30 deals, and if it had any inventory left, Amazon would surely match Walmart, too. The only game that isn’t 50% off anywhere is Nintendo Switch Sports, which is still on sale for $30.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, the first Nintendo-developed entry in the series featuring Princess Zelda in the leading role, is a wonderful top-down adventure for fans of all ages. It merges the classic formula with the playfulness found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Speaking of Nintendo’s most recognizable female characters, Princess Peach: Showtime is the Super Mario heroine’s first starring role since Super Princess Peach in 2005. It mixes several genres, including platforming, action, and fighting.
Nintendo isn’t offering discounts on Switch 2 games, but all nine games can be played on the new console and three of them have free Switch 2 updates that improve performance and add new features: Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 3, and Echoes of Wisdom. Mario Odyssey and Echoes of Wisdom both support HDR and genuinely look like remasters on Switch 2.
If you’re looking for classic side-scrolling platformers with local co-op modes that are great for parents and kids, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD are definitely worth checking out at these prices. Both games are great remasters of Nintendo Wii hits. Kirby is a friendlier platformer for newcomers, but the Switch version of DKC Returns HD retains the more forgiving Modern Mode from the Nintendo 3DS port. Another great pick for your next family game night is Nintendo Switch Sports, the spiritual successor to Wii Sports. Luigi’s Mansion 3 also has a few fun local multiplayer minigames to complement a terrific story mode starring the Mushroom Kingdom’s best Ghostbuster.
Nintendo Switch 2 Amiibo: Black Friday Deals

The four latest Zelda Amiibo carried $30 price tags at launch. They have been discounted a few times since June, but never to as low as they are now. The same can be said about the Street Fighter 6 Amiibo, which were priced even higher at launch. Best Buy has slashed $25 from all three characters, so you can get the three fighters for $45 total–five bucks more than Street Fighter fans paid for one figure at launch. Amazon is matching Best Buy’s prices on all four Zelda Amiibo, but only two are in stock at the time of writing.
