Lahore (New Times Report) In a card of nine races, Sheikh Sajjad Hassan Memorial Cup (today) on Sunday (today) is the central part of the 12-day Lahore Winter Summit 2020-21.
There are eight plate races and one cup race: four back-to-back wrestling plates and then the cup race, followed by the rest of the plates. The first five races are one mile run while the last four races are 1100 meters.
The inaugural race is the first of 15 Class VII and Division V horse races. This competitive plate race includes Jogani, Artolgi, Ji Aya Aya, La Elham, Jhumin, Finscher, Son of Jute, Azam Noo, Black Storm, New Market, Great Warrior, Master Prince, Lucky Time. Bright Bomber is a favorite to win and Day Gone and Shining Armor for places.
The second race, which is for Class VIII and Division-V, is the favorite after Hero, with Zahid Mohabbat and the expectation of places at Lucky Time. The lineup includes Mani Mohabbat, Stella, Bano, Cake Care, Inmol One, She, I Have You and Sheba.
The third class VII and Division IV race is eyeing the Prince of Multan to win and is likely to be replaced by Princess Jonty Road and Ayubia. Others in the race include Surkhab, Natalia, Nelly the Great, Chen Punjabi, Muskrate Pahrane, Bade Pir, Fakhr-e-Ravi Road, Dimple and Sajri.
The fourth controversy plate, which belongs to Class VII and Division II and III, is seven in the race but everyone is hoping to win. These places can win Zouk Yaqeen and Buzkoshi. Other participants include Miss World, Wahab Choice, Princess Naroli and Princess Mehra.
At number five is the Sheikh Sayyid Hassan Memorial Cup, a race for the first two-year TBP and HB race. In the 12-horse arena, Samsa is the favorite for the first position and for these places, Gun Metal and Wadad are in the line. Also present in this field are Warriors Call, Champion of Beauty, Sword of Winner, Ruff Diamond, Mr. Gondal, Salam Haider, Taksim Chowk, Nawab and Hazar Mohabbat.
Fair Beauty is the favorite to win the sixth race of Class VI and Division I, II and III. Marmaris and Dahab are likely to win. Other giants include Jeeb, Jeeb, Sajni, an unusual and Jahra.
