Does Kate Middleton Have Blonde Hair Now?

British Royals Attend Church During Their Scottish Summer Break

2025 is turning out to be a year of change for Kate Middleton. Back in January, the Princess of Wales announced that her cancer was in remission and she was working on adjusting to her new normal. Earlier this month, it was reported that the royal family would be moving into their “forever home,” and now, Middleton has a brand new blonde hairstyle.

The Princess of Wales debuted her golden locks on Sunday, August 24 as she was photographed driving to and from Crathie Kirk, a church near Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland where the royals often spend their summers. She was accompanied by Prince William and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Other members of the royal family were also in attendance, including King Charles and Queen Camilla.

While we’ll never know if this was a deliberate choice made in the salon chair or a result of a summer sailing around the Greek islands, Middleton’s honey hair comes just in time for the Windsors’ big move. The royal crew is changing their home base from Adelaide Cottage to Forest Lodge, an eight-bedroom Georgian-era mansion located in Windsor Great Park, later this year. Hopefully she’s bringing her hairstylist along with her.
