Critics have called for the savings of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to be shared among other working members.
It was led by Republican CEO Graham Smith. He told Express UK, “After all, it doesn’t matter to British taxpayers because the value of the kingdom keeps rising every year. The money not spent on Meghan and Harry will be spent on others.”
“In that sense, it is a good thing that the fewer the royalties there, the better. But in the end, the money will be spent on another kingdom instead of Harry and Meghan.”
However, royal commentator Richard FitzWilliams strongly criticized it. He explained that the only reason for the increase in the royal monthly expenditure was the restoration of Buckingham Palace.
“The basic cost of the kingdom is 74 paisa per person per year excluding security. The much-needed renovation of Buckingham Palace brings the cost to 1.24.”
“Given the impact of this epidemic, it was announced that although there would be lower incomes, any shortfall would be met by taxpayers, such as economists and other income earners. Each country would share in the expenses of its head of state. How can you put value on the country’s morale of these three historic broadcasts, including its Christmas message, which the Queen did during the epidemic? “
