SUKKUR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a corruption reference of Rs 320.66 million against 11 people, including Sindh Chief Minister’s advisor, in the accountability court here.
NAB Prosecutor Rabat Ali Bhanbhro presented a reference of corruption of Rs 320.66 million against Chief Minister’s Adviser Ejaz Jakhrani and 11 officials of the Provincial Highways Department.
The prosecutor told Accountability Court Judge Sukkur Farid Anwar Qazi that the persons named in the NAB reference embezzled more than Rs 320 million from the Provincial Highways Division Khairpur, Jacobabad and Shikarpur. Among those nominated in the reference were Engineer Agha Rizwan Pathan, Engineer Agha Zarar Pathan, Manzoor Panhiar, Tufail Khoso, Nazir Malik and others. Later, Judge Farid Anwar Kazi adjourned the hearing till December 3.
