AMMON – A new Broulim’s grocery store is coming to Ammon soon.
In a Thursday morning news release, the company announced it will break ground on a new building this fall at 2450 East Lincoln Road on the east side of Costco inside Rivera Park.
A specific date has not been determined.
It’s not clear how big the building will be or when construction will begin. It will be open seven days a week and include a made-from-scratch bakery, fresh kitchen with smoked meats, a Certified Angus Beef meat department, a pharmacy with a drive-thru and a large selection of groceries.

EastIdahoNews.com first learned about the new store in September. A company spokesman was unavailable to comment on the specifics of the project Thursday afternoon.
Ammon City Administrator Micah Austin tells EastIdahoNews.com they’re excited at the prospect of having a second Broulim’s location in town.
“Broulim’s is a valuable community partner, and we are proud to have them in Ammon. We look forward to meeting with the manager and employees of the new store. We welcome them and the new store to our community,” Austin says.
Charlie Broulim opened the first Broulim’s location on Main Street in Rigby in 1922, according to the company website. Today, there are 11 locations throughout eastern Idaho and western Wyoming, including Ammon, Rigby, Rexburg, Montpelier, Driggs, St. Anthony, Soda Springs, Shelley, Afton, Wyoming and Alpine, Wyoming.
EastIdahoNews.com will provide updates as we receive them.
