ISLAMABAD: The PTI-led federal government has appointed retired Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, a former judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, as the head of an inquiry committee to probe the Broadsheet LLC scandal.
Confirming the development on Twitter, Senator Shibli Faraz, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, said the retired judge would “chair a committee of inquiry into the Broadsheet case”.
The former Supreme Court judge will also be consulted on the appointment of other members of the Broadsheet Inquiry Committee.
