If you’re like me, your crummy old TV isn’t cutting it anymore — especially with Black Friday TV deals already flooding the internet. We’re still a couple of days out from the main event (hopefully your turkey is defrosting), but some of the best TV discounts of the year are already live. A handful are genuinely fantastic, plenty are just wearing “Lowest Price!” stickers for fun, and the rest are…fine. Sorting through the noise while you’re elbow-deep in stuffing and green bean casserole can feel like a full-time job.
Fortunately, that is my full-time job. I spend my days digging through price histories, comparing specs and tracking deals across Sony, Samsung, Hisense, TCL, Roku, Vizio — you name it. I know when a discount is actually worth jumping on and when it’s just pretending to be a Black Friday steal.
So whether you’re upgrading to a big screen for movie night or just want something simple for the guest room or your office, these are the TV deals that actually deliver. And if you’re hunting for more than just TVs, don’t worry — I’ve got plenty of Black Friday picks across the board.

This Roku set is one of the most affordable mini-LED TVs you can get your hands on. If you’re unfamiliar with the tech, it lights the screen using thousands of small LED lights, which gives it a level of contrast that can rival OLED TVs. Combined with HDR and Dolby Vision, you can get a seriously cinematic experience for a relatively inexpensive price. It’s all paired with Roku’s huge slate of apps and channels, giving you a ton of content to choose from.
As TV upgrades go, this screen hits the sweet spot: premium features and a wallet-friendly price. You’re getting a 75-inch 4K display with Dolby Vision and HDR 10, meaning those binge sessions or movie nights will look crystal clear. Throw Alexa into the mix, and it’s essentially a smart home hub masquerading as a TV. Plus, with Amazon regularly sending updates, this deal will get better and better over time.

Sony is one of the best names in the TV business for a reason, and this Bravia set offers a nice balance of affordability and great features. It’s a 4K set with support for HDR and Dolby Vision, and a 120 Hz refresh rate makes it great for both gaming and sports. It even includes some exclusive features for the PlayStation 5, if you happen to have one. The 77-inch version and the 55-inch model are also on sale if you want more size options.

I’m not one to buy a new TV until my old one breaks, but this CanvasTV sure is tempting. Everyone I know who has used one, including many of my colleagues here at Yahoo, has nothing but good things to say about it, from the look to the included bezel and artwork that you have to pay extra for with other art TVs (cough, Samsung, cough). It’s currently priced just a few bucks higher than its lowest price ever. If 55 inches isn’t big enough for you, they go all the way up to 85.

It’s not often you can say you snagged a 98-inch TV for under $1,000, but that’s exactly what you get with this TCL set. It’s $1,500 off ahead of Black Friday, giving you a massive screen that will fit in well with any home theater (if you have the space). With a 4K screen and support for every HDR format (including Dolby Vision), you can expect a pretty cinematic experience from the QLED screen. Google TV is also on board, so you get all of the streaming apps you could dream of.
You may not have heard of it, but iFFalcon is a sub-brand of TCL without the name and higher price tag. Though this model is minimal (it’s barely over an inch thick and can be hung right up against the wall) it features over 100,000 pieces of artwork to choose from. While it doesn’t have a matte screen like Samsung’s The Frame, at this price, it’s one of the most affordable large-format art TVs you can buy.

“If you dislike the idea of yet another monthly fee, you’ll be glad to know TCL doesn’t charge for art the way Samsung does,” says Yahoo Senior Tech Writer Rick Broida. “There’s no subscription here, just a robust collection of over 350 works of art … plus some cool extras.”

What do you get with this TV vs the 100-inch Hisense QD6? Both models were released this year, but this E6 includes an AI Light Sensor that adjusts the brightness of its screen based on your room, as well as support for pretty much every HDR format available, including Dolby Vision, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10 and HLG.
Not sure what any of that means? Totally fair. Dolby Vision is the most advanced — it tells your TV exactly how each scene should look, which is why many Netflix Originals and Disney+ productions lean on it. HDR10+ Adaptive does what its name suggests: adapts to your room, not just the scene, so you don’t have to close all the blinds like a vampire just to watch a movie. HDR10 is the standard HDR that most content uses — still better brightness and color than non-HDR, just not as advanced as the others. HLG is made for live broadcasts, meaning sports and other live events get the HDR glow-up too.

Have you always wanted a TV bigger than a queen-sized mattress? This 98-incher from Samsung might just be the ticket, especially considering it costs less than two grand. Hundreds less. Just make sure you measure first. No matter how hard I try, this size TV won’t fit in my basement without me taking down walls. Speaking of walls, you’ll want to make sure you’ve found the studs if you’re mounting this, as it weighs 114 pounds.
Save $998 | Lowest price ever
“One of my favorite TVs ever is within a stone’s throw of its all-time low price,” says Broida. “The Hisense CanvasTV is an affordable alternative to Samsung’s popular Frame series, which turns the screen into a museum piece — a showcase for great works of art — when it’s not showing new episodes of Slow Horses. This 85-inch Hisense model includes a wood frame (Samsung charges extra) and an art library of over 1,000 works, no subscription required.
“I could tell you more, but I have a complete Hisense CanvasTV review that shares all the details you’ll need.”
If 85 is a tad too big for you, the 75-inch model is also on sale.
Like the idea of The Frame but want a little bit more when it comes to the screen? The Frame Pro upgrades the QLED to Neo QLED with Mini LED backlighting. What that means for you: This screen is brighter and more vibrant. It also comes with a wireless One Connect Box, which makes it easier to hang your TV without any cords or cables hanging everywhere.
Looking for a different size? The 85-inch version of the Pro is also on sale.

If you’ve ever wished your TV could look more lifelike, this TV is the answer. The XR Cognitive Processor analyzes your content to deliver stunning depth and color, while a 120Hz refresh rate makes gaming ridiculously smooth. This is the TV that other TVs wish they could be.
