UPDATE
The following is an update from the Idaho Falls Police Department:
Shortly before 7 a.m. this morning, June 7, Idaho Falls Police Officers responded to a residence on the corner of South Lee Avenue and 7th Street for a report of a domestic disturbance.
Officers arrived and found individuals involved in the incident. One adult male was transported to a local hospital where he was declared deceased.
Other individuals involved have been cooperative with the investigation. No arrests have been made at this time. IFPD believes this is an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing danger to the community related to this incident.
Idaho Falls Police Detectives are continuing to investigate. Additional updates will be provided at a later date.
A small section of South Lee Ave, between 7th and 8th Street was blocked for the majority of the day due to the investigation. That section of roadway has been reopened.

IDAHO FALLS – An active police investigation is underway on 7th and Lee in Idaho Falls.
Details about what is going on are unclear. Idaho Falls Police Department spokeswoman Jessica Clements tells EastIdahoNews.com they’ll release more information when they’re able to do so.
Police have been there since about 7 a.m. Saturday and Clements says they expect to be there for most of the day.
Multiple witnesses report seeing police vehicles near a home and a woman crying while talking to officers. Police have yellow tape around the perimeter of the home, based on photos sent to EastIdahoNews.com.
Police do not believe there is any threat to the public.
A small section of Lee is blocked to traffic while police are on scene.
Authorities are asking people to avoid the area while the investigation is underway.
