WrestleMania is officially returning to Las Vegas for a historic back-to-back appearance in the city.
WWE announced that WrestleMania 42 is set for April 18 and 19, marking the second consecutive year the marquee event will be held in Las Vegas. It will be the first time since 1988 and 1989 that WrestleMania is held in the same venue two years in a row.
The announcement came during Saturday night’s Money in the Bank event, with a video package featuring WWE Chief Content Officer and wrestling legend Triple H asking fans if they were ready to “double down.”
“Going into Las Vegas, when you have record shattering, biggest WrestleMania of all time in Vegas, it’s great to say we’ll be going back to the entertainment capital of the world, and we look forward to breaking this years records there,” Triple-H said after Money in the Bank.
The decision comes after the company canceled its originally scheduled appearance in New Orleans, shifting the spotlight back to the entertainment capital of the world.
The crowd responded with mixed reactions following the announcement, as many fans were still disappointed by this year’s two-night WrestleMania event — a spectacle that drew criticism for its pacing and underwhelming match outcomes.
Despite fan reactions, Las Vegas made history last year with a sold-out WrestleMania at Allegiant Stadium, and WWE is now set to deliver another blockbuster weekend in 2026.
