Time to start booking those flights and hotels, Vikings fans. The full 2025 schedule is finally, officially here.
The Vikings will play four games in prime time, including their season opener at Chicago on “Monday Night Football,” their home opener against Atlanta on “Sunday Night Football,” and a Thursday night matchup at the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8 that will see quarterback J.J. McCarthy face off against his Michigan coach, Jim Harbaugh. McCarthy is scheduled to face his predecessor Sam Darnold in Seattle in Week 13.
The Vikings will also play back-to-back international games — Week 4 at the Steelers in Dublin and Week 5 at the Browns in London — and host the Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium on Christmas Day. It’s the first Christmas Day game for the Vikings since 2020.
That’s a lot of national TV time for the Vikings in their fourth season under head coach Kevin O’Connell’s lead and the first with McCarthy, last year’s 10th overall draft pick, under center.
