Shift Up has revealed it’s releasing a Complete Edition of its excellent PS5 game Stellar Blade on 11th June 2025, which also marks the title’s debut on PC. The release will bundle together the base game, all of the original pre-order bonuses, the two expansions themed around NieR Automata and NIKKE: Goddess of Victory, and some additional content in the form of a new boss fight and 25 additional Outfits.
It looks like the announcement was made ahead of time, as PlayStation has now pulled the trailer, but Gematsu grabbed all the details and you can see a YouTube mirror of the trailer above.
For current fans, the most interesting piece of information is that another 25 Outfits will be added to the game, along with a new boss fight against Mann. It’s not known yet if this extra content will be patched into the standard version of Stellar Blade or if it’s exclusive to this Complete Edition.
Stellar Blade has gone on to become a firm fan-favourite since its original PS5 release just over a year ago, at which point we awarded the title an 8/10. “Stellar Blade is a slick console debut from a developer clearly on the rise,” we concluded at the time. “With an ever-evolving counter-attacking combat system, some superb art direction, and a sensational soundtrack, this is the kind of back-to-basics PS5 outing that fans have been pleading for.”
Now, how about a sequel?
