Heading into the top of the 7th inning of tonight’s game, a weather system that’s been bearing down on the Atlanta metro area finally did enough damage to cause a rain delay at Truist Park. As such, the game is currently in a rain delay with the Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies tied at one run apiece.
The tarp is going on the field and we are currently in a rain delay. We will provide updates as soon as they are available.

We’ll be sharing updates with y’all as they come in. For now, sit tight. Hopefully we’ll see this game get resolved soon — and hopefully it’s a win for the Braves, no less.
UPDATE [9:40 p.m. ET]: FanDuel Sports Braves Color Commentator CJ Nitkowski seems to think this game is going to get finished but as you can imagine, both starters are probably done now.
Still seeing random lightening and steady medium rain here, but I think we wait it out.
Luzardo was probably done at 98 pitches. Schwellenbach had about 20 pitches left (was at 81) but likely won’t return as the delay gets longer.
