This is a killer deal on the best Windows tablet I’ve used in years
I know the idea of running Windows on a tablet can make some people nervous, but for all its faults one of the strengths of Windows 11 is that it’s more touch-friendly than any previous version. And right now the best Windows tablet (in my opinion, at least) is on sale for a sweet $500 discount.
Now is this technically a laptop? Not unless you connect a keyboard, I suppose, at which point this sleek slate becomes a pretty capable Windows 2-in-1. Luckily, Amazon is also running a Black Friday sale on select versions of the Surface Pro keyboard as well.
I’ve been reviewing laptops and tablets here at Tom’s Guide for years, and while the previous few iterations of Surface Pro have been pretty underwhelming this latest version is far better thanks to the one-two punch of great speed and battery life (courtesy of the Snapdragon X chip inside) paired with a gorgeous OLED touchscreen. It really feels like a luxurious device, so snap one up for a lucky person on your list (or yourself) while the deal’s on!
Score my favorite gaming laptop of the year w/ RTX 5070 Ti for nearly $1,000 off!
I really enjoyed my time writing our Lenovo Legion Pro 7i review this year because this is the first gaming laptop I’ve tested in a long time that actually feels like it could be a bona fide desktop replacement.
What I mean is, between the Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage this laptop feels like it could run any game on the planet at good to great framerates—and it’ll look good doing it thanks to the 16″ (2560 x 1600) 240Hz OLED panel, which provides better colors and contrasts than your typical non-OLED display.
It’s probably my favorite gaming laptop I’ve reviewed all year, and right now you can score one for nearly $1,000 off over at B&H!
An excellent 2-in-1 laptop for under $1,000
The Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 makes for an excellent work laptop and at-home PC, with its Intel Core Ultra 7 155U CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD. Now that it’s well under its $1,000 price, you can expect plenty of bang for your buck with its impressive performance, which is fine-tuned for work and even some light gaming. We gave the similar Lenovo Slim 7 a strong 4.5-star review, and it’s hard to go wrong with its 16-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS touchscreen for even more ways to use it.
The 15-inch MacBook Air M4 is at its lowest price ever!
The MacBook Air 15-inch M4 is one of the finest laptops out there, thanks to its gorgeous display, fast M4-driven performance, sharp 12MP camera, and new Sky Blue color. The fact that it costs $100 less than the previous model makes it irresistible. However, those who own the M3 model don’t need to upgrade.
An RTX 50-series gaming laptop for under $1,000!
An RTX 50-series gaming laptop for under $1,000? That’s right, as the Alienware 16 Aurora is bringing strong entry-level gaming to an all-new low. Along with its RTX 5050 GPU (Nvidia’s DLSS 4 excels at delivering sky-high frame rates), expect an Intel Core 7 240H CPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) LED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its 512GB storage is a tad lacking, but you can customize to add more if needed.
Our favorite gaming laptop is now on sale
This is a deal so good that we had to post it again for those joining us this afternoon. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is one of our favorite RTX 50-series laptops, and it’s now discounted for Black Friday. As we stated before, you can get the RTX 5060 model for $500 off or an RTX 5070 Ti model for under $2,000. Each features a gorgeous 3K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Don’t miss out!
The new Dell “XPS” is now on sale
If you’re a fan of the older XPS lineup, we’ve got good news: the Dell 14 Premium is an XPS in everything but name, meaning you can get the same excellent specs, and design, now for $550 off! Expect an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H CPU, Intel Arc graphics, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Oh, and a 14.5-inch 2K display. In our Dell 14 Premium review, we named it a fantastic Windows laptop.
The MacBook Air M4 is at its lowest price!
The latest MacBook Air is now so cheap, I’m all out of reasons to tell you to buy the M2 or M1 MacBooks. This is only up to $150 more, and you’re getting the latest beefy performance for the price — maximum bang for your buck.
Save big on this Windows 11 laptop
Right now, you can get a massive $450 off one of the best Windows 11 laptops that money can buy. Competing with the MacBook Air, Microsoft’s own Surface Laptop is a seriously premium system with a gorgeous aluminum finish, excellent ergonomics, a gorgeous 15-inch touchscreen, Snapdragon X Plus power, 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD.
Get this 2-in-1 for $450 off!
This HP 2-in-1 laptop is available for an absolute steal for Black Friday. With just under 50% off, you’ll have a hard time beating the value offered here. It has a 16-inch touchscreen, a 512GB SSD, and 16GB of RAM, giving it enough power to handle all kinds of day-to-day use cases.
A big and beautiful Copilot+ PC
The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge doesn’t have the epic battery life of other Snapdragon X Elite laptops, nor does it offer better performance despite packing a strong version of the Qualcomm laptop processor. However, its vibrant OLED display, lightweight design and roomy keyboard make it one of the best Windows laptops out there. At this reduced price, it’s a notebook you should seriously consider buying.
The new M5 MacBook Pro is on sale!
The biggest upgrade here is the M5 chip, which drastically improves GPU performance while adding AI neural accelerators into each core. This guarantees buttery smooth frame rates in games while also speeding up creative performance too.
Don’t miss this huge discount on a powerful RTX 5070 Ti laptop!
When it comes to raw power for price, this Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI (quite the mouthful) take the edge. Not purely because of its strong RTX 5070 Ti GPU, but also due to its Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD and lovely 16-inch QHD+ (2560 x 1600) OLED display sporting a 240Hz refresh rate. Pretty amazing that for under $1,500, thanks to its $400 price cut.
The MacBook Air M4 experience, but bigger (and less than ever!)
With the 13-inch MacBook Air M4 being the best laptop we’ve tested this year, you bet the 15-inch model brings the same brilliance — just in a bigger size. If you prefer more screen real estate, then you’ll want to grab the 15-inch MacBook Air M4, which is one of the best laptops you can get at this size. Yes, it comes with the same brilliant M4 performance as its smaller siblings, but this time with a splendid 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display and more keyboard space for typing. Better yet, it’s hit its lowest price ever!
Here’s the most affordable RTX 50-series gaming laptop I’ve seen
While landing an RTX 50-series gaming laptop is pricey enough, this Lenovo LOQ 15 sporting an RTX 5050 has dropped the bar to a very low price. With a $450 price cut, you can now grab this machine for just $649, and that’s the lowest I’ve seen on Nvidia’s laptop. This entry-level 15-inch laptop will take you far in competitive PC games, with an Intel Core i5-13450HX CPU, 16GB or RAM and 512GB SSD. Not the strongest, but for this price, it’s a strong kick of point for gaming, now for less than ever!
It’s true! Grab a Chromebook for an unbelievable $49
I mean, this is what Black Friday is all about: finding laptop for ridiculously low prices! But this Dell Chromebook 3120 takes the cake. For just $49, you can get the full Chromebook experience. Now, as it’s price suggests, this isn’t very powerful. But for kids, students looking to jot down notes or watching shows, it really is hard to be a price like that.
A power-packed Windows laptop now at a great price
It’s amazing what you can find during Black Friday, as this unsuspecting Asus Vivobook S14 Copilot+ PC is brimming with power now for under $1,000, thanks to a $250 price cut. You’ll get an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU, AMD Radeon 890M graphics, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, which is plenty more powerful than the one we Vivbook S14 we reviewed (and significantly cheaper). Expect a stunning laptop with a refined design here, making this deal hard to beat for Windows fans.
The best gaming laptop we tested hit its lowest price!
We’re huge fans of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, made better with the might on the RTX 50-series GPUs they hold. And right now, there’s more than one model seeing their lowest prices ever! That includes an RTX 5060 model with a $500 price cut (now just $1,299) and an RTX 5070 Ti model that’s dropped to under $2,000 thanks to a $400 discount. Whichever you choose, though, expect a glorious 3K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For the best out there, I’d be jumping on one of these offers.
One of my favorite Lenovo 2-in-1s just dropped to its lowest ever price
I just stumbled across the best price I’ve ever seen on the Lenovo Yoga 7i.
This is a mighty 2-in-1 with a gorgeous 16-inch touchscreen display on a fully foldable hinge, along with an Intel Core ultra 7 chip, 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. This is a solid notebook for all your productivity and bingewatching needs.
My personal top 5 in the UK
There’s a lot of deals popping off in the U.S., but the U.K. has a ton too! And I better do my last name (and home) proud and highlight my absolute favorites here too!
Apple’s MacBook Pro M5 JUST came out and it’s already over $100 off!
Apple just launched the M5 MacBook Pro last month, and right now it’s over $100 off in this killer Black Friday deal @ Amazon!
This is wild because this is a 14″ MacBook Pro with Apple’s brand-spanking-new M5 chip, which is the fastest and most capable slice of Apple silicon ever released. And right now you can get one for yourself (or a lucky someone on your list) for the lowest price it’s ever been!
A powerful Dell laptop with a major price cut
Dell’s latest lineup of Premium laptops have taken over the XPS, but these are still the laptops we love and know. Now, this powerful Dell 14 Premium is down to $999 after a hefty $550 price cut, making it one mighty laptop for a bargain price. In our Dell 14 Premium review, we called it a great Windows laptop for both work and gaming, even though the battery life is lacking. Still, quite the deal to nab!
Grab Snapdragon X power for less!
This is a wicked deal for Windows fans, as this Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge with the might of a Snapdragon X chip is now £250 off. Now for under £450, you can get a great, wallet-friendly laptop sporting a Snapdragon X chip (great for long battery life), 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. We called it a premium Copilot+ PC in our Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge review, and while it isn’t as powerful as the model we tested, this still makes for a fantastic choice for students or those who need to work on the go.
The lowest price I’ve seen on a value-first gaming laptop
Grabbing a gaming laptop for under $1,000 is already a good shout, but for just $549? I’d be thrilled with this as a student! The HP Victus 15 may not have the latest specs, but it still offers enough power to play the latest AAA games at 1080p. With a $350 price cut, you’ll save this machine sporting an AMD Ryzen 7 7445HS CPU, RTX 4050 GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, 512GB SSD and a 15.6-inch 144Hz display, which will work great for fast-paced multiplayer gameplay.
This Editor’s Choice machine is $300 off…
We reviewed a slightly different configuration of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition and it got an Editor’s Choice award. We loved its stellar battery life and impressive integrated graphics. Lenovo also deserves a shout-out for the laptop’s connectivity — this system has all the I/O you need, while packing Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Plus, that keyboard and touchscreen combo feels great for getting stuff done.
This model on sale is $300 off and includes a 14-inch 1920 x 1200 OLED touch display, Core Ultra 7 258V CPU, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.
This may be your last chance to get prices this low, and you can blame AI for that
Let me be clear. This isn’t me trying to scare you into buying a new laptop for Black Friday — only purchase if you need to!
But if you are on the fence about whether to buy a new system, I recommend you buy sooner rather than later because prices could increase quite rapidly heading into the new year.
As I reported last week, GPU price hikes are set to come in 2026 because the memory chip supply needed for them is extremely limited. In the huge AI gold race happening at the moment, data centers to run models like ChatGPT are being prioritized for all the stock available.
These memory chips are also used in laptops too, so I’m anticipating some price inflation early next year too. So if you’re in the market, now is your best time to buy.
