Monday’s Victory Is Idaho Falls’ Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Idaho Falls barely beat Hillcrest the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn’t the case this time around. The Tigers blew past the Knights 7-1 on Monday. The result was nothing new for Idaho Falls, who have now won four matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Hillcrest from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Emmett Springer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Idaho Falls has been performing incredibly well recently as they’ve won six of their last seven games. That’s provided a nice bump to their 7-1-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those seven contests. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2.

Coming up, Idaho Falls will be playing at home against Shelley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hillcrest, they have already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Century on the 23rd.
