It has been a wild Gamescom week so far, and like previous years, the last couple of days have seen dozens of new games revealed. There’s a lot to look forward to over the months to come, and if you’re subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you can start freeing up some space on your console for several new games.
Normally, Microsoft adds new titles to Game Pass twice a month–and removes a few as well–and August’s new arrivals have already been revealed with titles like Gears of War: Reloaded and Persona 4: Golden. As revealed during Gamescom, we’ve also had a few surprises, as The Rogue Prince of Persia, Herdling, and Void/Breaker are also now available through the service.
Next month is when things get really interesting, as we’ll see the Vampire Survivors-inspired Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor dig its way into the service alongside the console version of Frostpunk 2. October will see the Early Access launch of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault and later in the year you can fight grime in PowerWash Simulator 2 or engage in some near-future warfare in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Looking ahead, games like Denshattack, Beastro, and High on Life 2 have also piques our interest. Below, we’ve rounded up the many Game Pass day-one releases confirmed to be on the way this week, and while you’re waiting for them, you can also check out our list of the best Xbox Game Pass games to play in 2025.
