Quality of life upgrades, artwork, remixed tracks and more coming
A new patch is coming for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 on August 7, 2025. It will offer new quality of life upgrades, artwork, remixed tracks from CAP-JAMS and more.
Four new unlockable characters will be added to Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper: Maki, Yun, Eagle and Ingrid, the latter of which is also coming to Street Fighter 6 in the future.
These characters can be unlocked by enabling a toggle in the menu for Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper. Also, new artwork for these four characters will be added into the game.
You can also change modes on the character select screen to alter the rules of the bouts.
Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein will also get the ability to display combo routes in training mode. The option can be toggled at any time during that mode.
The CAP-JAMS team also remixed a bunch of the classic songs from these games, which will be included along with a many new artwork pieces.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 last had a patch in June 2025 which fixed a number of gameplay bugs.
