One person has died and three others were injured after the roof of a Family Dollar store came crashing down in Kansas City, Missouri on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency officials rushed to the store at 3726 Broadway Boulevard around 2:45pm following reports of a building collapse, according to the Kansas City Fire Department.
When they arrived on the scene, firefighters found the store’s front had partially caved in.
Debris was tumbling down onto customers and workers inside.
Tragically one person was killed in the accident and three others are injured, Kansas City Fire Department told Fox4.
One of those victims was transported to a local hospital with severe injuries, while the other two were treated on the scene and refused additional treatment, according to KSHB.
