American Legion AA State Tournament, featuring teams from Pocatello and Idaho Falls, starts this week


EASTERN IDAHO — Three local teams will represent eastern Idaho at this weekend’s 2025 Idaho State AA Tournament, at Nampa’s Rodeo Park.

The Idaho Falls Knights will play in game one Thursday, starting at 10 a.m., against the Parma Charros. Game two, at 1 p.m., will pit the Pocatello Runnin’ Rebels against the CDA Lumbermen, while the Idaho Falls Bandits will face the Lewis Clark Twins at 4 p.m.

Day one will round out at 8 p.m., when the Twin Falls Cowboys will take on the Nampa Chiefs.

Matchups and start times for day two of the tournament, on Friday, will be determined by the outcomes of Thursday’s games.

The state championship will be crowned on Monday.
